Neurodivergent Teen Boys Group
What Is It?
Is your teen /tween struggling to fit in? Do they need help regulating emotions, managing stimulation, controlling impulses and managing behavior? Project SAFE offers a confidential safe space for kids to come together to work on empowering themselves to function better. This in vivo group allows for kids and teens to practice skills together, to manage frustrations of life and to learn to work with others.
The kids arrive and will participate in collaborative play. A snack is provided. Each child identifies their own personal goal for therapy and explores behaviors that will enhance overall functioning. Therapeutic processing occurs through games and actively targeting interpersonal relationships, as well as talking which enhances connections within the group environment.
When Is It?
Saturdays from 11:30-12:30PM
